Most of our team was able to gather briefly at year end 2021. We're missing Olga, Courtney, Lexi, and Lucy in this photo.

Our Mission

To leverage the wisdom of humanity’s past to create a better present and future, Cultural Heritage Partners provides world-class legal, policy advocacy, and business strategy services to clients who seek to strengthen or de-risk their actions related to cultural heritage, which includes art, artifacts, architecture, landscapes, and traditional practices.

To improve the rules and conditions that influence cultural heritage preservation and access, Cultural Heritage Partners advances policy and programmatic initiatives that benefit our clients and the public at large.

Our Story

In 2010 we founded Cultural Heritage Partners, PLLC to address complex challenges in the cultural heritage sector globally. We believed there was great unmet need and a market opportunity for fairly priced world-class legal, policy advocacy, and business strategy services. The subsequent decade has validated our thesis.

We have welcomed hundreds of clients from across the full spectrum of individual, institutional, corporate, and governmental stakeholders in the field. Even so, Cultural Heritage Partners remains the rare private firm exclusively serving this sector, and the breadth of our practices—from historic preservation to art law—is unparalleled.

The most distinguishing characteristic of our firm is the quality of people we have been fortunate to attract to our team. Lawyers, archaeologists, tribal specialists, and executive support professionals combine their talents and personalities to create an environment that is collaborative, creative, and mission driven.

In our second decade we continue to grow in our core areas of strength: Heritage Preservation (including Section 106), Art and AntiquitiesIndigenous Heritage, and ESG.
