On behalf of six federally recognized tribes in Virginia, Cultural Heritage Partners, PLLC (CHP) advised the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service on ensuring the well-being of Tribal children. CHP urged the federal government to create a more transparent and accountable child welfare system. By improving the collection of data about Tribal kids, it will be easier to educate policymakers about the challenges Tribal children and families are facing. Better data can help create better policy.
