CHP is at the Polls Today

It’s Election Day, and the employees of Cultural Heritage Partners (CHP) are out volunteering in their communities. CHP staff received a paid holiday to foster civic involvement. Working on behalf of candidates, political parties, and non-partisan efforts to end gerrymandering, they are spending the day in front of polling places talking to voters.

Sarah Curtis and Ellen Chapman teamed up to volunteer together to share information about drawing fair district boundaries. Marion Werkheiser (and her daughter, Amelia!) handed out flyers in Virginia encouraging voters to fight for a Constitutional amendment for nonpartisan redistricting. Kelly Lizarraga stood outside her kids’ school providing sample ballots and answering voters’ questions.

Founding partners of CHP, Marion and Greg Werkheiser, offered employees the day off as part of their ongoing commitment to a mission-driven and civically responsible workplace. CHP encourages employees to vote, and to make a difference in their communities. Tomorrow, we’ll be back in office, assisting clients in the areas of historic preservation, art, and antiquities.
