ARtGlass to Expand Offerings in 2020

Founded by CHP partners, ARtGlass has become the world’s leading provider of augmented reality (AR) experiences at cultural sites and attractions. Using smart glasses with transparent lenses, ARtGlass enables cultural sites to tell their stories in a new and inspiring way. With 40+ deployments, ~2 million customers, and dozens of new sites on the way, ARtGlass is running full speed ahead to combine the best of today’s technology with the best of yesterday’s stories.

AR Magic

Have you ever stood at ruins wishing you could see the site as it used to be? Or that you could take a closer look at a priceless artifact that’s too precious to touch? Using cutting edge reconstructions and 3D models, ARtGlass is equipping visitors to do both (and much more). With our large menu of “AR magic” techniques, visitors to our client’s sites are able to immersive themselves in 360-degree panoramas,  listen to stories told by holograms of historical figures, and play games to  make learning fun.

Goals

While we all love cool new technology, storytelling is at the center of everything we do. Our ultimate goal is to inspire the public to learn about our past and the lessons it contains.  By using light weight glasses with transparent lenses, guests are able to lose themselves in the story being told, unhindered by holding clunky cell phones that take them out of the moment.

Future

ARtGlass has several deployments planned for 2021 and is looking forward to introducing the public to the power of AR at these sites. We are also working on finishing touches to make our powerful tour building software even more intuitive with the view of opening the platform to sites of all sizes. This technology has shown its ability to positively impact visitor experience and retention of knowledge and we could not be happier about that.
