Cultural Heritage Partners, PLLC, a law, policy and strategy firm with offices in Washington, DC, New York City, and Richmond, Virginia, seeks an Associate Attorney to join the firm’s art and antiquities practice. The Associate will support the firm’s litigation and transactional work for art and antiquities clients including museums, auction houses, collectors, and American Indian tribes. Ideal candidates will have:
- 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation matters
- A demonstrated interest in, and familiarity with, art and antiquities issues
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in small teams
- Sense of humor
This position can be based in DC or New York, and the attorney should be licensed in DC and/or New York. This position will include direct client contact, responsibility for various aspects of discovery, preparing briefs and motions in federal courts, and other civil litigation tasks.
